Our Laser System Technology department provides precision solutions for laser optics in a wide range of applications. It also forms the technical basis for many of our specialized manufacturing offerings.
Laser system technology
Our Laser System Technology division develops and manufactures processing optics for high-performance lasers. The special expertise lies in the development of optics for laser internal machining of tubes, surfaces, and in confined spatial environments. Our optics are used for laser processes such as powder deposition welding, hardening, structuring, and welding. Numerous installations around the world attest to the industrial maturity of our systems.

NUTECH GmbH has extensive expertise and specialized knowledge in the manufacture of laser optics for internal processing of tubes, known as ID optics. These optical tools are produced for all conventional laser types such as CO2, Nd:YAG-, high-power diode, and fiber lasers up to 8kW. Depending on the beam quality of the laser source, tubes with an inner diameter starting from 25 mm can be processed up to a depth of 2000 mm.
These optics are typically equipped with: pyrometers, cameras, alignment devices, and process heads for coating or hardening. Protective gas and powder nozzles are customized according to customer requirements.

Laser Power: up to 6 kW
Laser Process: Laser deposition welding, laser coating (hardening)

The Modular System
To standardize the design and manufacturing of these optics, we have developed a modular system over the past years. This system allows us to promptly and cost-effectively address a wide range of applications and customer requests.
Process parameters
Upon request, we will develop the necessary process parameters for your components. As part of contract manufacturing, we support you in testing initial samples and small series. We are happy to advise you on acquiring the required laser sources and handling systems, oversee your production run with our in-house capabilities, and provide training for your staff.

NUTECH GmbH has particular expertise and extensive experience in the manufacture of laser processing optics for laser welding. These optical tools are produced for conventional laser types such as CO2, Nd:YAG-, high-power diode, and fiber lasers up to 8 kW.
